Conrad and I went on a hot date the other night and, as usual, we ended up at Barnes and Noble. I could live in that place. Books are my thing. I love to open them up and smell them. Is that weird?
I got a gift certificate for Christmas that I was holding onto, and I finally spent it the other night on this:
I was so happy when I saw this book that my heart actually skipped a beat. Now I know for sure I’m weird.
I also picked up this book in hopes of improving my photography skills:

I looked for something more along the lines of “Photography For Total Failures” but I couldn’t find it. So here’s hoping this book will teach me a thing or two about my new camera and my so-far-untapped gift of photography.

ok, i’ve tried to comment on your last 3 posts and haven’t been able to (i think it’s my connection, not your blog, so don’t worry). but i want to comment, so i hope this goes through!
1. fantastic job on the party! i love it.
2. congratulations on the upcoming niece or nephew! so fun. i’m just a bit jealous that you actually live close to your nephew, but i’ll get over it.
3. i just decided the other day that one of my first purchases back in canada will be the PW cookbook. let me know how you like it!
I got the PW cookbook for my mom-in-law for Christmas- just wish I’d had enough time to borrow it before we left again. It looked really good. Make sure you post pictures if you make anything from it! C
