Safe in Bangkok

Just jumping on here to let everyone know we arrived safely in Bangkok.  Our flights went smoothly, despite a 2 hour delay for a minor electrical problem on the plane in Detroit.  We sat on the plane for 2 hours while they got that fixed, making our 12 hour flight feel more like 14, even though we were on the ground for the first 2 hours.  That delay made our connection in Tokyo very tight.  We literally came running off that plane, turned the corner and found that our next flight was already boarding.  No time to stretch or take a bathroom break!  We found our seats and settled in for another 7 hours in the air.  Needless to say, we were all happy to land in Bangkok and stretch out a bit.  I slept well last night and am feeling refreshed this morning.  Good thing, because in just a few hours we are headed back to the airport, this time for a quick flight to Phnom Penh where we will begin our work.

That’s all for now.  I’ll be back soon with more!
