I am sitting at an internet cafe and it closes in only 15 minutes so this will be quick. Tomorrow will be a big day. We will attend a Thai church service then fly to Bangkok. I plan to meet up with some dear friends living in Bangkok. I’ll have dinner with them then get to bed for a few hours of sleep. We leave for the airport at 3:15 Monday morning (Sunday afternoon EST) and I will arrive in Dayton at 3:00 Monday afternoon, after 24 hours of non-stop travel.
It’s hard to believe I am facing the end of this trip. I’ll have many stories to tell and pictures to share. I also have plenty of emotional stuff to sort through, but for now, I’m focusing on my last night in Chang Rai.
I appreciate your continued prayers as I face the grueling travel ahead of me and the jet-lag awaiting me on the other side. I’m ready to see my family again! Will have more soon!

Dearest Vicky,
Hello! Conrad gave me your websit yesterday and I have been reading up on your experiences! Wow. I just can’t imagine what you have seen these last few weeks. I have been praying for you to stay safe and be able to emotionally handle the horrors of the world. I don’t think I could be strong enough to do what God has called you to do. Sometimes I wonder how he stands to see how we live our lives.
I enjoyed a very needed visit from your girls the other day! Ellie wasn’t happy on the tramp because Bryn and Lydia and Adelaide were jumping too high and hard for her. LOL she is so cute! Anyway she came in (after running to ask dad if she was allowed) and had cheese and crackers and sat on my lap. I think Ellie misses you the most. She comes over and just kinda hangs out with me sometimes. I bustle around the kitchen cleaning, cooking and holding Annabelle and Ellie will just sit at the table for a few minutes and talk to me. I love that!
Well, we got a piano yesterday off craigs list! So we now have somewhere for Addie to practice! I will be praying for your body to adjust quickly from this trip and that you will emotionally and spiritually be strong. I am so glad that God worked it out so we could be neighbors! Talk to you very soon,
Katrina
